Greetings fellow stitching artisans and welcome!

I’m a stitcher, a designer and an instructor with tremendous love for my craft. Educated as a graphic designer, I initially turned to quilting for my hands on creative outlet when graphic design went digital, and in 2006 I launched my company featuring original designs in felted wool appliqué with unique embroidery embellishments. Today, my area of specialization is that of building added dimension to my appliquéd pieces using needle tilting techniques and the strategic layering of felted wool. You will find my pieces to be both decorative and functional and exemplifies a sophisticated style of needlework clearly unlike the primitive style of felted wool embroidery that is prevalent today. My newest design, Huo Long Penny Rug, is an excellent example of the sculptural style and intricate needlework that I incorporate into my projects. My passion for hand sewing and appliqué drives me to keep this wonderful decorative craft alive, and I hope you get as much pleasure making these pieces and enjoying them afterwards as much as I have had in designing them.
